Activision has finally confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is in development and scheduled to be released in 2024.
The news was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, with Activision promising to reveal more details on June 9th. However, some eagle-eyed fans have already spotted a few clues about the game in the teaser trailer.
One of the most notable details is the appearance of six scratch marks on the barrel of a modern assault rifle. This suggests that Black Ops 6 will be set in a modern setting, unlike the previous game in the series, Black Ops Cold War.
Another clue is the tagline "The Truth Lies." This could hint at a return to the series' roots, with a focus on conspiracy and espionage. Of course, we'll have to wait for more details from Activision to know for sure.
