Attorney General Garland Slams Investigation Critics
Attorney General Merrick Garland has forcefully defended the Justice Department's investigation into former President Donald Trump, calling it "imperative" and "urgent."
Garland made his remarks in a speech to the National Association of Attorneys General, in which he said that the department is "committed to following the facts and the law, wherever they lead." He added that the investigation is "not about politics or partisanship, but about upholding the rule of law."
