Cole Palmer And Noni Madueke Face Worries Over Chelsea Future Ahead Of Transfer Arrivals Paper Round

Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke face worries over Chelsea future ahead of transfer arrivals - Paper Round

Chelsea duo Palmer and Madueke may be sold amid fresh transfer speculation

A report from Football Insider claims that two Chelsea youngsters, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke, could be sold this summer as the club looks to raise funds for new signings.

Palmer, 20, has struggled to break into the Chelsea first team on a regular basis, while Madueke, 21, has been out on loan at PSV Eindhoven this season. Both players are highly-rated, but it is believed that Chelsea may be willing to cash in on them in order to fund moves for other targets.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing a number of players this summer, including Raheem Sterling, Ousmane Dembele, and Matthijs de Ligt. The club is also believed to be in the market for a new goalkeeper, with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy both struggling to impress.

If Palmer and Madueke are sold, it would be a blow to Chelsea's long-term plans. However, it is understood that the club believes that the money raised from their sales could be used to sign players who can make an immediate impact on the first team.

Palmer has made just 11 appearances for Chelsea's first team, while Madueke has made 22. Both players have been capped by England at youth level.

Chelsea are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
